32″ of 1″ decorative ribbon
Rope
Matching thread

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Print out the Pack-Pack PDF pattern pieces and cut out fabric.

2. Fold the bag side piece in half with RIGHT-SIDES-TOGETHER and sew down the length of the 18″ side.

3. Press the side seam open.

4. Iron the top edge under  1″.

5. Iron the ends of the ribbon under 5/8″.

6. Line both ends of the ribbon at the seam, 1/2″ from the top and pin in place.  Then continue pinning the ribbon evenly at the top.

7. Top stitch at the top and bottom of the ribbon all the way around the bag.

8. Secure the end of the rope to a safety pin and pull it through the casing.

9. Lay the bag flat, and pin each rope to the bottom of the bag at the seam.  Stitch the ends of the rope in place.

10. Turn the bag wrong-side-out and mark the bottom of the bag, and the sides of the circle into quarters with pins.

11. Lay the two pieces with RIGHT-SIDES-TOGETHER, and line the pins on the bag with the pins on the circle, adding more pins in between as needed.  Sew around the bottom.

And that’s all there is to it!
