While we didn’t manage to escape the wind or rain, a weekend at Long Beach with great company was exactly what we needed.  Face-planting into something grand, wet, and sandy exhilarated Bev and terrified Len.  I love seeing their curiosity.  Everything in their world is new and exciting; that look in their eyes is my daily reminder to savor the little things.  Things like artichoke dip, Pig Mania, and political ramblings with friends.
