box bag

Everybody loves finding a gift bag with their name on it underneath the Christmas tree. There’s just something magical about being able to peek inside without leaving any trace of mischief. You know exactly what I’m talking about, don’t deny it.
MATERIALS NEEDED
cardboard box
rope/twine
paint (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

① Cut the upper folds off of an empty cardboard box.
② Peel the paper off to expose the original cardboard.
③ (Optional) Colorblock the front of the box with paint.
④ Use a pencil to mark 1″ from the edges along the entire box.
⑤ Glue the rope/twine along the pencil mark, starting at the bottom of the box, and leaving slack for the handles. The rope should start and finish at the same point.

It’s a lovely balance of recycled goods and natural, clean lines.
Reduce. Reuse. Wrap.
